Some new works on the audio page, a recent video collaboration and an unreleased studio track. Both come with high and unbiased recommendations.

New Scenic Railroads CDR on GMBY: Airports & Apartments, Volume 1

And... my debut on CD proper ICHINOMIYA 5.3.6. will be officially released soon on Troniks and Little Enjoyer. It's back from the plant and is a quite lovely package. If you can't wait for the official street date, feel free to order one direct from me over at the GMBY Catalog
.

A lot of stuff in the works. I've been recording a trio with Tim Olive & Bunsho Nishikawa, am planning several shows in the new year (definitely in Japan and hopefully abroad)
, and am finalizing a few collaborations recorded earlier this year. 2007 should be over the top.

I finally made myself a myspace page. Some info up now. A few mp3s should be on the page as soon as they go throught the conversion/approval process. Be my friend and we will digitally hold hands. myspace.com/mshiflet.

Very excited to be coming back to the States in September to take part in the ErstQuake festival, curated by the Erstwhile and Quakebasket labels. It's a four-night affair at Tonic in NYC. I'll be performing twice, once in duo with Michael R. Bernstein (of Double Leopords, White Rock, Workbench, etc. fame) and once with Scenic Railroads. Plenty of other great stuff on the bill: Aaron Dilloway, Jazkamer, Cosmos, Jeph Jerman, so many great acts. Full info can be found HERE.

Also, my debut solo CD "Ichinomiya 5.3.6" (co-released by Little Enjoyer and Troniks) will be available around that time with the first copies being available at the festival. Plenty of other things going on too, more info to come.

Two new compilations which feature live action from my West Coast tour last summer. The first, CorralComp2005, is a 2CDR benefit for Los Angeles Venue Il Corral and features the Geese trio (myself, Jesse Kudler and Jason Zeh) as well as Jessica Rylan, Sixes, Damion Romero, 16 Bitch Pile-Up, Sissy Spacek and more.
Info here . The second, SwampComp Volume III, features a collection of live sets from Denver, CO, on Swamp of Pus Quality Media. It features a line-up strikingly similar to the Corral comp with sets by myself, Kudler, Zeh (all solo here), Sixes, Pedestrian Deposit, Ex-Jesus, Dave Phillips and more.

Working on getting a complete list of past compilations for the discography page.

Some quick things of note: The artwork for the split CDR with Adam Strohm has been finalized. I think this should be out before the end of the month on Adam's Ordnung Records. The artwork for a split CDR with Ed Howard & Tomas Korber is also pretty much done. That should follow soon. The planned CDR on Audiobot has also been upgraded to a CD. I'm glad they liked the material so much. This will be my first solo CD.

I also took down most the Februrary tracks from the MP3 page, but did keep a couple of my favorites up.

February 28, 2006

The February Project is done. All 28 MP3s up now. Should remain up at least through March if not longer. Visit out the Audio page & let the downloading commence.

First major update of the site. Please check out the Audio page for the February project in which I'm attempting to record every day this month and post an MP3 each night. I honestly don't know if I'll make it, but I figured it was worth a shot. I have a lot of new ideas I'm trying to work out anyway.

Info on forthcoming projects and live dates will show up here eventually. Keep posted.
